OK, this is true insanity! It will affect millions of people - everyone who sends large emails (10 or more) to inform people of birthdays, parties, political issues or any news they want to share with their friends. It is also extremely disingenuous and will damage our use of the internet in fundamental ways. It is a blatant money grab.
